That’s the chorus from the title track of our New World Family album which just arrived at our doorstep on Friday. Those of you who pre-ordered will receive your copies shortly...
We are going to create a montage/blog for each song which features lyrics, creation stories, photos of sessions and inspirations and the wonderful Luminary associated with the song. (more about Luminaries createed by Arlene Arnold and Lahrinda Eileen later...)
If a particular song is special to you in some way you can chime in and we are likely to include your experience in the songs montage.

Our first New World Family Clubhouse Concert and Potluck was an absolute blast, thank you to those pioneering souls who attended the first one. There are some pics and comments about it on our facebook page. We’ll be offering these concerts all up and down the west coast this Spring and summer so let us know if you’d like to host one, or check our calendar for a New World Family Concert near you!

Music for Peace, Goodwill and the Celebration of Life!

Peace is one of the aspects of spiritual consciousness, others being Love, Joy, Truth, Contentment. (I'd love to do a Concert for Contentment someday!)When we speak of Peace we're talking about inner and outer peace. We know there is a lot of violence in the world and when we focus on the violence... war, crime, abuse etc... we are adding our energy to the violent energy patterns. We also know that cultivating inner peace is the way to achieve outer peace. Bathing in a sound bath of high-vibrational music is a very effective way to contact ones inner peace and joining our voices and thoughts with others who have contacted their inner peace is a way to send a strong signal of intention out to the universe that we are ready for outer peace to manifest.
We hope to see you at one of our Concerts for Peace soon and may peace break out everywhere on this planet in short order.

This Thurs and Fri we are in the studio with the fab drummer Chris leighton. He is such an important sound to our recordings. We get him whenever we can!! Everything that we have recorded so far sounds so good. We are blessed.
Spread the Love !!!
Another great Free World session today! We loaded 3 more songs into Don’s system from our Korg Triton Studio which we use for pre-production. Got a couple more rough mixes accomplished as well. So far the songs on the album include: Free World, Life, All I Am, Be Here Now, New Life, Reach Out, Love Will Find a Way and New World Family. Every Minute and Stress at the Door are also possibilities as we worked on them previously with Eric T. and they are pretty far along. We’ll be adding at least 3 more later including Share the Road, Thank You and Light Sky Blue.
We’ve slowed down the tempo a bit on Reach Out, made it funkier and tweaked the melody and lyrics to give it more of an edge to match the subject matter of the piece. After doing scratch vocals for Reach Out we spent the rest of the session preparing mixes for tomorrow;s session with drummer Chris Leighton. We are excited to hear Chris add his magic to the mix!
